For years now, experts have been encouraging kids to engage in physical exercise and abandon their x-box, even just for an hour a day, with slogans like “get outside”, while we, as adults, workout either within the confined spaces of our living rooms or at the nearby gym. Les Klein, a local architect in Toronto, believes it would be a boon to the city to add a roof to the Gardiner Expressway. He proposes to make this into a park which would include trees, cycle paths and walking trails, all over-top of a roaring highway.
