Sarnia Ontario Solar Expansion

Ontario, Canada, is to be home to the biggest photovoltaic solar power plant in North America, thanks to plans to increase capacity of the Sarnia Solar Project to 80 MW, an increase of 60 MW. In a joint venture to quadruple in size the Sarnia Solar Plant, Enbridge Inc. and First Solar Inc. expect to start the expansion in 2010 at a cost of approximately $300 million.
